The thing about the Tibi Summer Capsule delivery is that it is my annual marker for the official change into the Spring/Summer season. Also it is one of my favorite deliveries around this time because it is FUN! Amy Smilovic always has a way of making things that I didn’t realize I wanted or making the perfect version of something that I thought I already had covered but didn’t actually. Like these grey sweat shorts or a seersucker suit. The other thing about this collection is that it is so realistic and relevant to our lives this time of year. There are slip dress and slip skirts that you can wear casually and dress up or down. There are vacation pieces, poolside pieces and party pieces. Here are some pictures that are an attempt to show you what I mean:

Seersucker

Here are 3 seersucker items. The Liam blazer (I’m wearing an XS), the Pull on Shorts (I’m wearing a S), and the Stella Full Length Pant (I’m wearing a 27). This version of the Stella pant features snaps at the bottom that allow you to cuff the pant for a more cropped situation. The shoes are Marsell here and Emme Parsons here.

Terry Cloth & Sweatshirting

The terry cloth striped pull on skirt and shorts are genius! Perfect for days at the pool and vacations with water involved. The grey sweatshirting set in the middle is a personal favorite of mine. I’m wearing Small in the shorts and skirt and XS in the grey tee.

These grey shorts are coming home with me. I need something cute to wear to walk my dog in the morning and evenings instead of my tennis shorts. These will do the trick and my way of wearing them to work in the summertime would be with a white button down (my answer to most things) and a navy cotton blazer like this Hache one. Will, if you’re somehow reading this, please don’t give me a hard time about how much I actually take walks with you and the dog in the mornings (I’m usually more on the evening shirt). But maybe I will go on morning walks more if I buy these grey shorts!

Silky Cotton and Silk Voile Greys

These fabrics are EXCELLENT for summertime! The silky cotton in photos 1 and 2 and so soft and so lightweight. I am loving the skirt and tank top in photo 1 for myself. I feel very elegant in it and I like the red of the shoes. If you haven’t heard my spiel on red suede shoes I’ll try to be brief: you NEED a pair of bright red shoes - preferably suede. They weirdly go with everything! We have several options online I like a lot. Marsell sandals I’m wearing here, these loafer options do the trick as well by Sophique, and if we have your size left in these Mansur Gavriel ballerinas you will not be disappointed.

Summer Denim & Slips

This summer denim is SO soft! The Winslow pants in image 2 are a favorite. They are very lightweight, comfortable and easy to wear. To be honest, I’m not crazy about the pink camisole I put with it - it’s not very “me”. I ran out of time to style it a different way, but personally I would probably go full denim with it and put the Camp Shirt with it half-tucked. The Camp shirt is adorable worn as a shirt or as a little shirt jacket if you need some coverage.

I love the pink slip skirt! It is already crinkled and great for packing - it will take up no room in your suitcase at all. I love it with the grey tee shown in photo #1.
